After setting up Wacom Bamboo on Ubuntu using
this document, I wondered whether I would find some easy set of instructions for Debian as well. With very less time to even check out why I needed to paste the new udev rules and what exactly was getting pasted there anyhow, I wondered whether there was task cut-out to get the tablet working on Debian Lenny.

But all it needed was the latest driver from
linuxwacom project.
I referred these instructions from the Step 14, and that was all that I needed to do!
I've been sketching cartoons every day now, on Inkscape and GIMP - and
enjoying it greatly!
Update: 29, August 2010,
Looks like the fiegetech link is no longer there. Some information about setting up the device is
available here.
